Beth McBride

The solo project of singer and songwriter Bethany Forseth-Reichberg with a new album in the making.

Mall Girl

Norwegian indie pop outfit Mall Girl brings boundless energy, edgy experimentation, and a powerful creative force to everything they do.

The outfit of local talents came together after a series of jam sessions led to something magical. From the rhymes of A$AP Rocky to the vocal ease of Rickie Lee Jones, the group finds inspiration in innovative art, regardless of genre. That varied palate helped them to create a sound all their own, fusing relatable, engulfing lyrics with elements plucked from classic pop and gritty midwestern emo.

Together they have released two albums, “Superstar” and “Pure Love” on Jansen Records, and played at festivals like Øya, Roskilde and other big Norwegians festivals, and soon the band will play beyond the Scandinavian borders.

Riversun

The new duo project with Bethany and saxophonist Zakarias Meyer Øverli. Together they blend together impulses from jazz, pop and hiphop.

The duo has played together for several years in the band tigerstate, but had for a long time wished to create something new with Zakarias’ jazz background and Bethany’s poprock background. The collaboration has lead to the making of a whole album, soon to be recorded, and the music released in the course of 2025.

The music is greatly inspired by the honest and pure music of Susanne Sundfør, to the more groovy and powerful music by Michael Brecker and Cocteau Twins. With pulsating and danceworthy rhythms, Zakarias uses the saxophone as an accompaniment instrument and play chord progressions that Bethany effortlessly can sing over.

tigerstate

tigerstate is an Oslo-based collective of musicians and singers which was founded in 2020. The core of the band is eclectic gang of young musicians and other creative people, who after being in the same circle in the Oslo underground music scene decided to join forces on a common project. Their approach to what they do musically is organic and democratic, yet completely free. As long as the ideas are good, anything goes! From songwriting to the actual playing and performing of the tunes, Tigerstate is a collective in every sense of the word.
